Thank you to everyone who joined us at the first Joppenbergh JAM! You made it a roaring success! We are so lucky and grateful to the artists, Dog on Fleas and Mark Brown, who contributed their time and talent to our free community event. Thanks to Billy Liggan for his extensive help, advice, and hand-holding, and the Rosendale Farmers Market for letting us use their incredibly useful equipment. Thank you to the Rosendale International Pickle Festival , All Motor Cars, and SWDS for sponsoring the event; we could not have done this without you! Thanks to the Wallkill Valley Land Trust for permitting us to use their land, and to our volunteer security guard David and parking volunteers Ron, Andrew, Trish and Diana for making sure everything ran smoothly and safely. And the Rosendale Heart & Soul team – Andy, Henry, Laura, Maria, Tim, and Project Coordinator Amanda – we tip our hats to all!
It was a big learning curve for us as an organization to discover how complicated and expensive holding an event in town can be. Thank you to the Town of Rosendale for approving this event so quickly and making sure we got all the permissions necessary so that this wonderful concert could come into existence!
We at Rosendale Heart and Soul are thrilled with the turnout, and the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received. Because of this success, we’ve received funding to plan a music series for next summer! Stay tuned for Joppenbergh JAM 2025!
